Debating Donovan

Mike Waldner of the Carson Daily Breeze un-surprisingly struck a nerve with his readers in an article criticizing Landon Donovan for returning from Germany to play for the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Waldner certainly wasn't the only soccer journalist to express such sentiments, but he is the only one I know of so far to attempt to engage in a debate with those readers on the issue.
I am one of those readers whom he quoted in his debate, my portion described pretty accurately as an "e-lecture", and in the interests of sportsmanship, and keeping things in context, my letter in full and un-edited is presented here. more details | go to article
