Using Soccer To Promote Unity by Shelly Lewellen (Article | Tucson Citizen - May 19) A group of soccer players from Central Asia is in Tucson this week to promote cultural understanding and to challenge local teams in international competition. The team, composed of 13 to 15-year-olds from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, is undefeated in its six games in the United States.
